34 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 15.11.2019 MTP Library Accelerated Reader Update Congratulations to the nineteen boys who are already Reading Millionaires this term. Many of them also received one of the various multi-millionaire badges. Eashan Pindoria (Y5), Tobi Alade (Y7), Aarian Bahanda (Y7) and Dylan Mehta (Y8) are now all on three million words read. Austin Ivan (Y5), Harry Morgan (Y6), Henry Wang (Y7) and Felix Regnard- Weinrabe (Y8) are on five million. Levin Chakravorty (Y5), Dev Kamesh (Y6) and Ben Moore-Taylor (Y7) have reached eight million and are still climbing! Aryan Mehta became a Reading Millionaire in early October, making him the youngest ever Year 3 boy to get his first million words in the school. Another nineteen boys are very close to reaching a million any day now, so I will be kept on my toes handing out badges and certificates. Meanwhile, don’t forget about the Honours badges. 100 points accrued by reading across a range of different authors and genres will win you these highly prized badges.
