They bite every single piece of the moose’s body except for the bone. After they finish eating the moose, they are so full that they lie down for a rest on the slush snow. Their tail curls up to keep them warm. By Milan As the icy snowflakes drift to the snowy landscapes, the wolves advance to their favourite hunting place. They trot swiftly over the satisfyingly crunchy snow. Leading the hunting party is the pitch-black male. Following is the rest of the pack. The male lifts his snout and catches the scent of a moose. He signals to the rest of the pack and they silently and stealthily crawl towards it. As the moose comes into sight, the wolves emerge from the bushes and encircle him completely. They pounce onto the moose biting and slashing at him, dragging him down and killing him. They sink their fangs into his body and drag it home to start feasting and picking it clean. After their scrumptious feast, they drift off in moments and dream about their cubs playing in the spring. By Alex As the mighty black wolf leads the pack into the spooky forest, snow slowly falls onto the freezing ground. The pack stealthily follow the tracks and sniff the air to find the scent of the herd of moose. As the wolves slowly approach the herd, they wait patiently until they are ready to pounce savagely. Their hearts are beating very fast because they are starving and if they fail the whole pack will starve to death. As quick as lightning, the dominant black wolf charges toward an old, injured moose. The rest of the pack follow behind him and circle the prey cautiously. The black wolf leaps up and pounces onto the old moose and bites its neck before dragging it down to the ground. After a good meal, the pack slowly drift off to sleep with their tails on their heads. By Nihal Silently, the pack of wolves sprint down to the forest. As they advance, they smell the scent of a moose. They search the forest for a long time, but they don’t have any luck. Leading them is the tough, black wolf who can catch almost anything. While half the pack are hunting, the other half show they have found something. As they sprint forwards, they finally see the old moose. Quickly, the pack pounce at the moose, biting its neck. Red drops of blood drip onto the white snow. Stumbling, the ferocious pack drag their prey back to the den and enjoy a big feast. After their delicious meal, they drift off to sleep with their hind legs touching their heads as they curl up. They dream of walking with their pups, telling them how to hunt for prey. By Meerav
