2 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 09.02.2023 Welcome from the Head We have a had another busy and productive half term with sports fixtures, performances in the theatre, school assessments for Years 5-8, as well as all of the wonderful learning that takes place in class. I would like to congratulate Y3 & Y4 for their excellent production of ‘Hookwinked’ this week. As always, it is brilliant to see such confident and poised performances from such relatively young children. I would also like to congratulate Prem Pandya for winning the Young Musician of the Year competition; he sang beautifully and triumphed against incredibly accomplished performances from individuals at both MTP and MTS. As well as this half termly newsletter that gives you information about what we have been doing in school, you may also wish to follow us on Twitter and/or Instagram (both under the handle of MTSPrep) where we have been posting more regular updates about life at MTP. Please remember that we re-open after half term on Tuesday 21st February because we have a Staff INSET day on Monday 20th February. I hope that your boys have a good rest over half term.
