22 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 09.02.2023 MTP Forest School Y3 Orienteering & Firelighting Over the last few weeks, the boys in Year 3 have learned to tie an overhand knot which they then applied in an orienteering game. They have also developed their understanding of what a fire needs to burn and applied this to safely light a fire. After persevering to master how to effectively use a fire steel we made a big fire together and enjoyed toasting marshmallows on it! 3D
