25 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 09.02.2023 MTP Clubs All five of our chess teams in the Under 9 and Under 11 age groups have battled through a qualification round to achieve a place in the semi-final round of the English Primary School Chess Championship. The match, which took place in the delightful surroundings of Merchant Taylors’ Senior School, required all our boys to play at their best and they did not disappoint. Our warm congratulations go to all of them and we look forward to the semi-final in May. Five Chess Teams Battle through to National Semi-Finals
