2 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 17.05.2019 Summer sports and weather have all arrived at MTP as well as exam anticipation and FA Cup, Champions League and Europa Cup excitement depending on whom you support! We witnessed a close finish to the Spring Term House Cup with only a smidgin between Newton (1st) and Wren (2nd). Wren won the House Football cup and N1 the Table Football Challenge. Honourable mentions are extended to Ayaan Diddee 5W2 for getting the most house points and the Watson Cup, 3W who won the Coronation Shield in Y3/4 and W2 who took the Coronation Cup as top tutor group. This term we have already enjoyed House Maths which Johnson won on a tie breaker from Newton with Cricket, Chess, Tennis, Table Tennis and Sports Day Athletics to follow. Thanks to parents and tutors for the recent Year 7/8 Tutorials and best wishes to all pupils as they prepare for end of year examinations.
