On the tenth of March Merchant Taylors’ Prep entered two teams of four in a national Science quiz. The standard of competition was very high with over 90 schools competing in our heat. Both teams from Merchant Taylors’ Prep performed exceptionally well and both teams lead the competition at different points, including one round when the two Merchant Taylors’ Prep teams were in first and second place. Unfortunately, we were pipped at the post and didn’t manage to hold on for the victory, nonetheless the boys’ strong performances earned them in a place in the semi-final that takes place next term. Congratulations to Jimi A. (Y6), Krishan J. (Y6), Aarav K. (Y6), Joshua W. (Y6), Lucas L. (Y5), Neean P. (Y5), Vansh S. (Y5) and Cian S. (Y5). We are all eagerly waiting for the semi-final.
