Head's Welcome
It is my great pleasure to introduce you to Merchant Taylors' Prep School. Our school aims to provide a well-balanced education, combining a strong academic tradition with an extensive range of extra-curricular and sporting activities.
Throughout this exceptionally broad educational offer, our focus is to consistently enable our boys to develop the Learning Attitudes such as curiosity, perseverance, independence and collaboration which will benefit them throughout the rest of their lives.
As part of the Merchant Taylors' family of schools we offer a ‘through school’ experience for boys from 3 to 18, with most of our pupils progressing through to the senior school. From the first steps of learning in the Nursery classroom right through to becoming school leavers destined for the best universities and degrees, we nurture creativity, confidence and compassion, ensuring that each pupil is valued as an individual and that all concerned - pupils, staff and governors - strive for excellence.
