To celebrate Easter, pupils enjoyed two egg-cellent activities that showcased both creativity and teamwork. From designing eye‑catching Easter egg hats for the House Hat Making competition to racing around the Manor during the Pre‑Prep Easter Egg Hunt, the last week of Spring term was filled with fun, colour and plenty of egg-citement.

The final day of the Spring Term saw the boys in Years 2 – 8 take part in an Easter Hat competition. After being given two pieces of A3 white card and access to various other resources, the boys were challenged to make an Easter Hat in just under two hours. The boys thoroughly impressed staff with their creativity, engagement and enthusiasm for this project and great fun was had by all. The boys’ designs were then judged by House staff, and all boys received a prize which were generously donated by the PSA and very much appreciated by all involved!

Writes Sarah Razzell, Reception Teacher
The Manor had a fantastic time during their big Easter egg hunt! The children worked in small mixed teams, with Nursery and Reception pupils joining together to search high and low around the garden for all the colourful hidden eggs. There were lots of excited squeals, careful counting, and shouts of “I found another one!” as the eggs were discovered. We’re not entirely sure who enjoyed it more, the children or the teachers! They showed excellent communication skills and great resilience, never giving up even when the eggs were tricky to spot. It was wonderful to see their excitement and teamwork throughout the activity, and most importantly, everyone had lots of fun, sharing smiles and celebrating their success together.
