Writes Mr Rabin, Teaching Assistant with Sport
We recently took nine of our Year 5 and 6 Boys over to Merchant Taylors’ School, where they took part in the Barbarians Rugby Festival, a big part of the annual Rugby Week celebrations.
The boys were allocated into teams at the start of the evening and got the chance to play with different teammates from other attending schools to develop their rugby skills. Throughout the event, they took part in a series of matches in their teams coached and supported throughout by some of the older Taylors’ pupils.
All nine boys represented the school brilliantly showing great teamwork, determination and teamwork throughout. It was fantastic to see our boys making the most of the opportunity and really get stuck in in their individual teams.
Participants: Zorez K. (Y6), Aveer M. (Y6), Ronan M. (Y6), Cian S. (Y6), Aiden K. (Y5), Oliver S. (Y5), Dylan T. (Y5), Ethan T. (Y5), Max W. (Y5)
