Nursery and Reception enjoyed a very special visit from one of our Year 6 boys, who kindly brought along two of his ponies for the children to meet, accompanied by his mum. The boys were fascinated to learn all about the ponies, including what they eat, how they are cared for, and what it is like to compete in events and shows. There were lots of thoughtful questions from the children, who were eager to find out more about pony life.
The boys also had the wonderful opportunity to stroke and groom the ponies, which was a real highlight of the visit. Even the rainy weather could not dampen the excitement and enthusiasm of the afternoon! We are extremely grateful to him and his family for taking the time to share such a memorable experience with us.
