Laura Williams is an experienced primary educator with 18 years of teaching experience across all primary age groups, including 10 years serving in senior leadership roles.
Having worked in many schools across all sectors, she has specialised in the core areas of English, Mathematics and Science, leading these subjects throughout her career across a range of schools. Laura has extensive experience in curriculum design, developing innovative teaching strategies and driving improvements in teaching and learning to enhance outcomes for all pupils.
Laura holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, with a particular focus on learning, child development and speech acquisition, providing a strong theoretical foundation for her work in education. She also completed a SCITT PGCE, combining academic study with practical classroom expertise. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to continually developing her knowledge and understanding of pedagogy, ensuring that curriculum development and classroom practice are informed by the latest educational research and evidence-based approaches.
As Assistant Head (Curriculum Innovation), Laura is passionate about creating ambitious, engaging and inclusive learning experiences. She is dedicated to developing innovative curricula that inspire curiosity, foster academic excellence and enable every child to reach their full potential.
